Adam Pitt

Founder | Osteopath | Director

Adam is the founder of Necessity Health and the driving force behind its vision: helping people move well, feel great, and live fully. With a background in osteopathy and a deep interest in complex musculoskeletal conditions, Adam has spent years working with people experiencing persistent pain, headaches, jaw issues, neck injuries, sports injuries, and complex presentations that haven’t responded to “quick fixes.” He believes good healthcare should be thorough, evidence-based, and genuinely patient-centered. But what truly sets Adam apart isn’t just clinical skill, it’s leadership. As the founder of both Necessity Health and Necessity Kids, Adam is passionate about building something bigger than himself. He is committed to creating an exceptional environment for both patients and staff: welcoming spaces, high clinical standards, and a team culture where clinicians feel supported, valued, and continually growing. Adam is particularly focused on: • Developing clinicians to think critically and independently • Building systems that ensure a seamless patient journey from first contact to discharge • Creating a sustainable, values-driven healthcare organisation • Delivering care that is evidence-based, ethical, and genuinely helpful Outside the clinic, Adam is a husband of 17 years and a father of four. Family is his number one priority, and that perspective deeply shapes the way he leads with long-term thinking, integrity, and a commitment to doing things properly. Adam’s vision for Necessity Health is simple but ambitious: to build a practice known not just for great treatment outcomes, but for how it makes people feel supported, understood, and confident in their care.
